won't hit the market for at least two years jeans are supposed to go up 20% this year and clothing makers are starting to eliminate hoods pockets anything they can to reduce using cotton but the consumer won't see the effects of lower prices till after 2012 aren't we lucky

I am glad I have a two year supply of fabric. I hope I have enough to last until the prices do come down.

That's a pretty hefty increase to handle, especially for guys who are tough on their jeans because of their jobs.

Yes, he is tough on his clothes....a mechanic during the day, part time farmer....and he is 21, so nothing is going to last either! I do patch them for him, lol!

talking to a few of my friends in the business and they are saying that Moda is now printing on THIN griege goods! ANd that they are no longer keeping fabric in their warehouse, you can only buy thru their reps. ANd if not enough orders are made they won't even be printing the new lines!

P&B textiles just closed their warehouse in Dallas!

Fabric will be scarce and of a lesser quality for MORE money!

This scares me....I think I will hang on to my stash and try and find some jean sales quick!
Good thing my little one doesn't like jeans-leggings and such work for her (and dresses) now I just have to learn to make them from my stash lol

Once the prices get up there they will not come down. I have seen it on too many things. Manufacturers will increase the prices and we get used to the new prices so they think they don't have to lower them.
