my favorite - cold whipped cream, preferably from my neighbor's Jersey cows, so it is yellow -- warm home made biscuits -- strawberries at room temperature, cut up and sugared about an hour beforehand.

There, now I have made myself hungry. Used to pick quarts and quarts of strawberries in the field this time of year, my knees just are not up to it anymore. So I have not indulged this year.

Oh, yes, yes, yes! Decadent. If you really want to go over the edge, also try heavy sweet cream in place of the sour cream. About as good as it gets this side of Heaven.

I'm kind of on a VLCD (very low calorie diet), so I eat the strawberries just washed and sliced
