Does anyone besides me proofread anymore? LOL...this will probably have a typo as well! Surely glad to know that a recent quilt was made with men's shirts and not shorts, as originally stated! Hard to imagine that, but I was trying.

I find that if I see a mistake even after proofreading I will go to edit and fix it. I can't help it! Also, I don't even read things that are in all CAPS. It is just too hard on my eyes.

No, they don't. Not even on the news tickers or in the newspapers. It used to drive me crazy but I've come to realize that the world is full of terrible spellers. My first clue was when I had to re-type meeting minutes for 2 different retired school superintendents, both with Masters degrees in education. There is no way they turned in their own papers to get those degrees!

I am a good speller, but terrible typist. I hate when I see an error too late to edit. Whoops, that just said 'roo late'.

I usually try to proofread what I type as I type so fast and make mistakes sometimes as we have 15 minutes to go back in and edit a post we post to the board

I have been known to go back several times to edit my post if I see a grammatical, punctuation or spelling error. Sure that I miss some but am too OCD not to change it if I notice it.

I would appreciate spell check for when we post - - hint, hint.

Me, too.

A pet peeve of mine is 'to' where 'too' should be used. Sorry, I'm just OCD.
