I turned 40 this year so I will be having my first one. I have to schedule my annual and I'll be having it after that.

I am too old for one now. Here in Ireland, they consider that when you are past 65, you no longer 'need' one.

I think they will still send you for one if you discover a lump, it's just the regular ones they stop. (saves money)

I have mine every November, but I can't say I am looking forward to it. I know last year, after the tech got me all "situated" and ready, she told me to not move. I'm thinking, "move? I don't even breathe, much less move!" Crazy!

When I had my first one this past year, it was a fairly nice experience. I don't like having the ladies 'mushed' but it wasn't quite the painful experience the other females have made it out to be.

This reminds me - I need to make another follow-up. (keeping an eye out on a fibroid lump)

Had mine in Sept. Back last week for a spot magnification. Have to make appt. to see surgeon for biopsy (not spelled right!) Do not want to go through this but guess I have no choice. Sure would appreciate your prayers. Thanks.
