Do you prefer your ice cream on top of the cake, or on the side?

:D

We just celebrated Jill's birthday at the shop... and after a delightful 4-part harmony of of the Happy Birthday song and a sweet treat including Ginny's homemade chocolate sauce (her secret recipe), I'm definitely having a sugar high!

I usually have cake or ice cream but if both are being offered I won't refuse them side by side or one on top of the other.

Ok, I'm the weird one. I don't want my cake and ice cream touching, unless it's an ice cream cake.

If I had to choose, I'd usually choose cake over ice cream. But if I could have them together, I'd do that. I'd want them separate.

My favorites:
Yellow-flavored layer cake with chocolate frosting
Chocolate ice cream
