I do this every year( get spring fever in the middle of winter)How did I get from a trip to town, to this.. http://www.bhg.com/premium/decorate/...=427120&seq=19
Its a long story! whew, let me condense.
TJMaxx- looking at beautiful stuff and home decor.
Walmart- wandering over the store after tearing myself away from fabrics. Found myself in the paint aisle. They have a new paint display and paint tester samples. OMGoodnes!!! Since before Christmas, I have been auditioning paint chips( for Lv. Rm.)wanted gold/neutral/taupe somewhere in that vicinity. Bingo they had it.
    Chinese Restuarant- peppered chicken,yum.
    school- pick up young'ins
Lv. Rm. omg! applied two coats just inside the door. Love It!!
Here on the QB for a spell, then hit BHG.com searching for inspiration on decorating. Dont' get on unless you want spring fever also. In the link above , thats close to the new color I will purchase, notice I said will purchase, making myself wait for warm weather and saving my pennies too. Seeing the big black frames in the pic. I thought wow those with some quilt squares would be so pretty. Searching further I found THAT very thing! Framed Grandmother's flower garden.http://www.bhg.com/premium/decorate/...=282202&seq=58 beautiful and also , they used an antique ironing board as kind of a side table, gorgeous.http://www.bhg.com/premium/decorate/...2469038&seq=41
See I told you I had to apply the brakes.I do the same thing when I look at quilt mags or see quilt in my LQS. Do you do this?
I think I have adult ADD or something. Anyhoo, thats another project added to the list.

 Sorry I don't think I did a good job of condensing

We've been doing the same thing since just after Thanksgiving. Redecorating, remodelling, accessorizing. Next project is to paint the kitchen cabinet bases and get new door fronts. We're not changing colors in the kitchen, though, so it won't look different. We did do new laminate flooring in there though.
