I've soaked my stainless steel pan, but there's still burnt sugar/caramel stuck to the bottom. :(

Does anyone have any magic for me?

    Thanks!!

I do alot of candy and sometimes you have to boil water in it. Just put a good bit of water enough to cover all the caramel, and bring it to a good boil.

Do you have any comet or something like that? Put in pan and make a paste out of it and let it sit. Or you can put vinegar water in it and cook on stove till it comes loose, but really stinks up the house.LOL But after it cooks for a time, take a metal spatula and scrape it off. Should come off pretty easy. Good luck

Scrub with kosher salt and brillo pad. Stainless steel pots will last forever!

I use Baking Soda and water in my pans when I have an ooop's.
I boil it for awhile, then let it cool. Most of the time I only have to do it once.

If none of those ideas work try oven cleaner. Spray it on and enclose the pan in a plastic garbage bag overnight.

Just cover with water, bring back to a boil, mine always comes right out of the pan. Anything burnt...

put some water in the pan and put a dryer sheet in it and let it set. Don't know how but it works. I do this to crock pots all the time.

Pour a can of tomato sauce in the pot (or 2 depending on how deep the burnt on), let it set over night. Next day add boiling water (about same amount as sauce) and let set until cooled. Should clean up easily.
