    Also very rural so about an hour to Hancocks or LQS. 50 min. to Hobby Lobby, hour and half to Joann's. Don't get to go too often. Shop online a lot, just hate waiting for fabric to come.

    I'm about 40 minutes rom The Door Mouse (LQS), 15 from Walmart. I've been going to Joann's since I was a kid, and they were about 20 minutes away. I moved a half mikle down the road, still, 20 minutes.
    Then JoAnn's decided to move, and a local highway made me change my route, so it was increased to 40 minutes. Somehow the Highway agency, whatever that is, must havve heard of this terrible situation and put an overpass over the highway, my time was back down to 20 minutes!

    Too darn far! Clear across town & we don't live in town, lol. Maybe this is a good thing though. We go once a month to quilt club, then on rare occasions, when we are in that area. Wish it was closer, like a bookstore, or coffeehouse, an LQS is nice just to go in & hang out at for awhile some days!

    LQS = Local quilt Store
    I have one about 15 miles away. JoAnn's is 100 miles. Or if I go to visit friends in St Paul MN there are lots close.

    I have 6 LQS ,a Hancock's and Joanne's all within 30 min. drive. They are not all in the same direction but I can hit 2-3 in a afternoon. Lucky for me the Hancocks is the closest and I don't buy much fabric at that store. I forgot the Walmart right next to where I work.

    Too funny!!!

    I'm a mile from JoAnn's and a mile the other way to a LQS but they don't have too much and their notions are out of sight financially. There are several other shops in the surrounding communities but I haven't visited them much. I get into enough trouble with JA's and online!

    15/24 miles but don't care for either, caustic/unhelpful owner/assistants.
