I got married 3 days after graduating from high school.. we met when I was a sophmore.. I noticed he drove to school in a green 56 chevy and I wanted to be in the seat next to him. Well I was in the seat next to him and we married and moved to N.C. for two years. (army). 2 kids later and 8 gr children we will be married 40 years in June of 2012. Yep my best friend who now quilts with me and spoils me everyday.

We have been married 48 years last June 22nd. I was 19 and he was 21. I met him at a fast food restaurant where he worked part time for a friend. He also worked full time for a supermarket chain. I thought he had an old clunker with a primed paint job. I said yes to going out with him, and he followed me home with his brand new 1964 Chevy Impala, so I could leave my car at home. He is a keeper !!!!!

Its been 37 years as of this May - we met in high school. Hard to believe its been that long...he's my best friend & I'm having a blast in our life together....
