    We were married on his R & R from Vietnam 43 years ago on August 12th on Oahu,Hawaii at Fort DeRussey. We had a a great week, then he went back to Vietnam and I finished up my student teaching. He returned the last day of the year in 1968.

    We have been together for over twenty-six years but married for only the last six. We had to wait a long time before the laws changed here in Nova Scotia to allow same gender marriage. We could not be happier.

    1st marriage 17 years, UGG. Single 12, then either I found a wonderful man, or he found me and we have had 20 wonderful years together! Marriage can be great with the right person!!

    This coming April 24th will make us 36 years! I went with my hubby 2 1/2 years before we got married.

    We will be together 17 years on Nov 19. Married 16 years on May 18,12. I tell my husband he owes me 50 years of marriage. My deceased brother in law told him "god you don't even get that for murder!

    39 yrs. coming December 9th. High school sweethearts. Lots of ups and downs, but stuck together through it all.
