My DH is a $10 Canadian..... been here longer than Germany....but definitely German!

I'm half German. My Mom is 100% German. Her grandparents came here in the 1920s or so. They spoke German, Mom doesn't remember any of it now. Her maiden name is Handlos. Her grandmother is Schaefer.

Leider laesst mich der Zoll damit nicht durch, habs schon mal probiert mit Wurst in Dosen. Morgens um 4 Uhr hab ich ihnen gesagt: I should eat everything right here till I throw up. Hat mir aber nichts eingebracht :-(

My grandparents came from Germany and our daughter-in-law's parents came over when they were 19yrs. old. They are in Austin.
