Easy to take a machine with you that is in a rolling case. Mine is actually made for scrapbook supplies...my cart...but my machine fit it nicely and I was able to use one of those 40 percent discount coupons when I bought it and it has been used a bunch. Not too heavy for me to lift into the back of my SUV and out again. I get so bored sitting in a motel room. My husband likes to stop early and will watch anything on TV. Not me, don't like very many of their junky shows so I have to carry something to keep me from going bonkers.

I know what you mean. When we go to our camp I bring my machine if I'm going to be there a few days.

Smiles to all....Thanks for the shoulder! Oh, I'm not really a hand anythinger. LOL
Get yourself a piece of embroidery, like a table runner or a dresser scarf or buy some dishtowels and start that. It is a great relaxer. When we go to the casino for an overnight, I always take my embroidery with me. I am working on an embroidered Christmas quilt. Works for me. Edie

We use to go to Shreeport, and I took my machine and cutting supplie a few times. I made a crib quilt while my husband had his fun.

there is not much in Laughlin.....bring your machine and precut a project or two.....I have gone when the senior group needed another to meet their quota for a bus.....always took GFG pieces, watercolors, hiking shoes and a camera. Never found anything like a quilt shop, did not try across the river in Bullhead City, so maybe........................................

Take some hand work and you could take that to the slot machines with you.

I actually bought a sewing machine about 12 years ago just so I have one to travel with! I TOTALLY understand you! Pack it up and go!
