Yes, they are ... we have about 3 plants/vines in the back and the scent is so sweet... I especially like night blooming plants...

I had them when I lived in SE TX..... so if they can survive that heat they can survive anywhere in TX!

They are so lovely... I might need to add some to my new MN gardens.....

With the right fabric that would make an awesome wallhanging or quilt.

Oh my goodness, I've never met someone else who grows them also! They are the most beautiful flowers!!! Yours is much bigger than mine are, mine are only 5" across.

This flower below opened the night of Hurricane Irene, which was a tropical depression by the time it got to us. When this flower opened, the TD had already passed by and I was really surprised the flowers made it through. The entire deck is covered in morning glories and moonflowers.

I don't get flowers until the end of August and for that reason, I have to plant actual plants rather than planting by seeds.

There are two varieties of moonflowers. One is a bush type plant and the other is the vine type.

At first glance, I thought it was a silk flower you had made.

I planted a moonflower, but keep forgetting to go look at it in the evening to see if it has flowers... will have to make a point of doing that!
