A new Wal-Mart Super Center opened in Tampa.

It has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the distant sound of thunder and the smell of fresh rain.

When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and you experience the scent of fresh cut hay.

In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks and brats.

In the liquor department, the fresh, clean, crisp smell of tapped Miller Lite.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread & cookies.

I don't buy toilet paper there anymore.

That was cute. Our local WAlmarts are upgrading the appearance of the stores inside and out. While I appreciate the nicer restrooms I am smart enough to know that the prices have to go up to pay for the upgrades. They remind me of people I have known who have given up their "real" values to keep up with the Joneses.

At Winn-Dixie, they do have the sound of thunder just before the produce misters come on.

Thank goodness they don't have the smell of grilling meat in the meat dept though; that might make me ill. :)
