I just read that the Sew and Vac in Ocala had a bad fire last night and was heavily damaged. The owner says he had just gotten 16 of the new Janome models in. He's got two other stores so he can still function, but it's still heartbreaking that all those machines were destroyed. I'm soooo glad my machine wasn't there for servicing!

So sorry to hear that. Any clues to what started the fire?

The article says there is no clue about what caused it yet, but an employee drove buy not long before the incident and said everything looked just fine. I'm sure the fire department is looking into it, and possible the arson unit? I'll let you know when I find out.

I read about in the paper today. They had some of the neatest cabinets for sewing machines with storage I had my eye on one from there. The Belleview store is nice a quilt shop is in the same place.
