I'm trying out a new program on my computer and I want to see if I can transfer pix. If it works, this is a portrait I did of my granddaughter a couple of years ago. It's done with Prismacolor pencils. YEA!!! It works! Finally I can transfer pix again!!!

Thank you. That was only the second time I'd ever used pencils to do anything. I took a class and did a 5x7 Santa face then this one. I'm going to try to post the one I did of my grandson, (the third one I did), and I think I'm improving with each one.

I used to do portraits in oils but I developed an allergy and can't go near oil paint anymore. So when I found out about the pencils I'm happy again. Luckily I was able to do lifesize portraits of both my parents before the allergy got too bad. I gave the pictures to them for Christmas one year with the stipulation that they were never to be part of their estate and all my brothers and sisters agreed. When they passed away the portraits came back to me.
