I just poked my head out the door and the trees are all singing!! There must be a large flock of them here now!! Such a welcoming sound.

They've been back in PA for several weeks now. House Finches came right behind them. Then after they got here we had our wrost snow storm of winter.

I'm watching the scout reports for my Purple Martin colony to return. I've had a small colony since 1999. They've returned every year at the end of March. I have 3 Martin houses up, ready & waiting for them. Amazing birds & so much fun to watch.

I just talked to my Mom in Southwestern Michigan and she too said the robins are back. She said one tulip has also sprouted up. She just can't wait to get outside and do some things in the yard. She has to get out there to do what work she is able before one of my brothers shows up and tells her she shouldn't be working so hard and to let them do it. They "Mother Hen" her a lot. She is 87 and still quite active.

    Enjoy the coming spring. :)
