Here is an excerpt from Reba's book, she talks about making a quilt but it does not look like she is a quilter, but her Mama and Grandma were quilters.

many more than you may think....but it's their 'private life' and many of them like to keep it that way.

Randy Travis was given a custom king size quilt from a fan. He said it was on his bed, he loved it. Did anyone see Nashville tv show last night? The young singer was given a quilt made of pictures of her from her childhood. She looked at it and then gave it away. The quilt was shown in detail. Someone put a lot of effort in that quilt. I wonder if the pictures were really of the actor and if she kept it if it was. Nice quilt.

I'm not sure the OP was asking if there are any celebrities HERE on the board. I think she was just asking if there are any that are known to quilt at all.

Knitting seemed to be the rage for a while a couple of years ago, it seemed like everyone in Hollywood was having knitting parties. The only celeb I can think of that quilts is Marie Osmond, and that's only because she was featured in magazine ads for a while.

I think she didn't want a reminder of her childhood, which wasn't a good one.

I googled this today to see what came up, I watched "Stepmom" with Susan Sarandon and she was sewing and had patchwork quilts in her home (in the movie).
On movies - I have watched the movie How to make an American Quilt, is there any more quilt movies does anyone know?

I'm going to say good. Maybe she inspired some of the quilt bloggers that I follow these days.
