Exactly. This is one of the many reasons Egypt had all those riots - the cost of food went up. Between corn being used for fuel and QE2, the price of food worldwide exploded, and third-world countries around the globe are feeling it. Very sad.

In our area they have Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper made with sugar. Our local grocery store (HEB) also carries their own brand of sugar-sweetened sodas. I like them...they taste like the soda I drank as a kid!

My DH is a pepsi drinker.. he said it tasted about the same to him !!

I've been buying it for over a year now when I can find it.....it DOES make Pepsi taste like the Pepsi we had years ago. :) :)
