I thought the "B" word was "BUY" something for yourself. Now THAT would have been a good B-word.

Not wanting to stir the pot, but isn't a quilt a blanket? lol

At least he acknowledged the fact that you make a PRETTY blanket.
Give him time and he will learn the terminalogy.

That's just sweet. My kids (all grown now) know the difference and still call everything b* but in reality they all know how to sew, use a machine and often ask for advice on how to put something together. And including my ex husband there are 3 boys. Go figure.

It's a guy thing. My DH refers to quilt retreats as "blanket parties". lol.

Totally understand the pain and horror. Just received a thank you note from a baby shower that I made a crib quilt and matching changing pad quilt. They said thank you for the blanket and pad. Yes the horror!

javin22 I was getting hot under the collar as I started reading your post about the B word and on your anniversary of all things. Glad you cleared that up. Glad he just forgot to say quilt instead of blanket. AND he didn't say or mean the other B word!!!! :-P
