same here. My great grandson calls me Mom even tho I tell him that I am Oma. I figured out why he calls me Mom. When my son comes home from work and I babysit at their house, He says"Hi Mom how was your day today" and he heard that. That's why I am Mom to him. lol.

One calls me grandma, another calls me Grammy, the third one calls me grandma Babe and the baby calls me MemMee. All different because they have other nicknames for the "other" grand mothers.
I answer to all just fine, they're my little loves!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

They all 7 call me Nanna & my Mom Grandma. My DD's 5 call me Nanna & their other Mimmie & Gramps.
Tried to get my son's 2 girls call me Nanna J & the other Nanna B but they just say Nanna because we aren't together that much.
Love them soo much. The 5 are right now in China & I miss them so much. they had always lived 10 min from me, miss hugs, kisses & sleepovers, taking & doing things with them. The other 2 girls live 25 min away, don't see them that much. I lost my hubby 10 yrs ago & it really, really broke me heart because we only had 3, 1 boy 5, 1 boy 3 & girl 1. Then the others came along. He would have enjoyed & loved them sooo much, fighing, camping, hunting, etc. But God had a plan & most of them times we don't understand His ways. But we have to move forward with our lives..

We talked about Granna and Grumps (yes, he is grumpy alot) because daughter in laws, had extended familys.(step parents, great grandparents, etc).Those folks did not want to be called Grandma and Grandpaw, so some how we got those names. Its ok though, we love it!
