Default Yesterday was date day with husband

Friday was Date Day, we went to the movies then grabbed dinner to take home.

We went to see "Once upon a time in Hollywood". My husband calls this kind of movie my version of a chick flick......lol

Oh, it was hilarious, Brad Pitt out did himself. DeCapreio wasn't bad, very funny. My husband pointed out places he had been to in the movie (shot in LA.). He worked on houses in the area where Leonardo's house was located. Casting was great, Tarantino is one of my favorite directors, I like his filming style. The movie is about 2 1/2 hours long, 3 if you count all the previews and such on screen.

Then we took KFC home and enjoyed the rest of our day.

Nice review of the movie without spoilers.

I love seeing places I recognize in movies. Many years ago we were watching the A-Team Movie. I said to my husband, that is the Thompson River. He said, "no." Well it turns out I was right.

My friend and I go to the movies every month or so, we will have to look for this one.

What a sweet hubby to go to a chick flick with you! It sounds like a wonderful date night! Thanks for the review. I'll watch for it.

This is a man's version of a chick flick. Be prepared. I liked it, action packed, but certainly not a chick flick.... like all of Quintin's movies.

Sounds like a wonderful day! I'll have to watch for that movie, too.

I don't care for chick flicks, my husband likes the fact I love action movies. So we calls those my version of a chick flick.

Chasing Hawk--we saw it last week and also had a great time--Brad and Leo both did a great job and we thought it was fun.
