    Hi Everyone,

I've had a love for quilts from childhood when I would see old quilts that had been "retired" to the family's hunting cabin. I fell in love with Graniteware there too.

In addition to quilting I have become a home embroidery junkie.

I just killed my arms and shoulders by machine quilting an embroidered baltimore album quilt. It's time to invest in a frame, and so I found this message board while surfing for info on frames.

My latest creations can be seen in my quilts gallery at bassy.smugmug.com.

Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all.

Hi Monkey Wrench. Welcome to the board. I hope you'll make lots of friends here. This is a friendly board and very encouraging to new quilters (and old timers). Hope you'll post some of your quilts here, too.

Bombay is truly a gift from God.

He is my second Weimaraner. Sebastian was first, and now lives 3 doors away. He is on my web site too. He had horrible separation anxiety, and HAD to be with someone who was home most of the time. It was a painful experience, but he did manage to win a Calendar contest for Weimaraner rescue.

Bombay is the opposite. Although he is snuggled between my arms as I reach for the laptop, he has been very patient with me and my insane weeks finishing my parent's quilt and embroidering other Christmas gifts. At 9 months old he is an angel. Likely fulfil another dream of mine.... to have a therapy dog.

    S.
