Hello from Houston. I have been sewing and quilting for 8 years. Hand applique is my favorite, but I'll sew anything. I have LOTS of hobbies and need to have my hands moving at all times.
I recently took-up oil painting in January, but keep going back to my sewing and handwork.
I'm a HUGE reader as well. Historical fiction is my favorite, but I read all sorts.

I joined this board just for the swaps! Searched for a year looking for some kind of block swap, Never thought to search for a forum! Had no idea there was this many quilters gathered in one area!! You will love it here and the swaps are SOOO much fun. I recomend the doll swap if there are little projects you want to try out, great way to get some practice, and meet some new people. So many swaps to choose from! Jump right in! Im sure I will meet you there!
