Welcome from North Dakota! Hubby comes from Michigan and that's where we will retire to. Cold here also, have a fire in the fireplace today.

    Happy Easter and happy sewing.

Hi, and welcome to the Quilting Board from Nevada! Hmmmm.... let's see. Mid-Michigan. Saginaw, Bay City area? That's what we used to call "mid-Michigan" when I was growing up. I was born in Manistee, grew up in Grayling, and went to college at Lake Superior State College (yes, I know it's a University now). I love Michigan, and Michiganders, and still have a lot of family back there, so I visit at least yearly. You're making me homesick!

So, what city are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

You've come to the right place for quilting and probably embroidery too. I don't do that, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here who do. The people on this Board are very friendly, giving of themselves and their knowledge, supportive, and just a great group to know. And did I mention lots of fun? I'm constantly amazed at the complexity of questions that are answered. Sometimes I just come on and read answers, not bothering to chime in. I learn so much! But do feel free to chime in! We love input!

Again, welcome aboard! We're so glad to have you!
