Lived in Raleigh for 22 yrs, been in the mtns for 3. Loved going to the Bernina store and drooling over their luscious batiks. If you haven't, yet, check out wish upon a quilt on Westgate road out toward Durham, NC.

I'm in Raleigh now, and moving to Durham in October. Wish Upon a Quilt is a great shop, about 5 minutes from me now - and me with an empty wallet!!! Still fun to look.
