Hi everyone- I'm new here, but not a new quilter. I've been quilting for many years, and fortunately have gotten better! Ya'll already know that I love to quilt, or I wouldn't be here. I do want to tell you that my avatar quilt, while not the prettiest or best one I've made, is the most special. It is made from the cut up dresses that belonged to my husband's grandmother. She joined her son (my father-in-law) in California in 1958, and she only took 4 dresses with her. This quilt is made from those dresses.
