HI, I am new to this site, I grew up in Vermont, so please all you Vermonters keep in touch, I am homesick for the east coast, if only I had a job there. I love this site. Thank you

Oh my goodness! I grew up in Clackamas! We lived on Roots Road - quite a few years ago. You live in a beautiful part of the county - so close to the mountains, the beach and the Columbia River. If you haven't checked out the Columbia River Gorge, do so. It is a beautiful drive. And, for quilting, you aren't that far from Fabric Depot - at 122nd and Stark in Portland. Check it out too! Soooo much fabric!

I understand your missing your previous state, though. My hubby and I live in Missouri now and miss the Northwest. But, there is so much to explore in any new area! Enjoy the search!

Not from Vermont, but grew up in New Hampshire near the Vermont border. We lived in Lake Oswego, OR for 5 years and now live in Maine. So welcome from the east coast!
