I have never quilted before and want to make my son a quilt for Christmas out of Crown Royal bags. I want o do it on the embroidery machine. Can anyone tell me what is the best stabilizer to use, the best thread to use on an embroidery machine quilt, and any other suggestions for such a project? Thanks Sandi

    Hello, and welcome from Idaho!

I don't know about being the best or not, but I love Isacord thread for embroidery.

There are many different stabalizers, so it depends if you want iron on, sticky, etc...

Good morning! Welcome to the board!
i would think you need something light weight, an iron would would be easy to use.

You should be able to google "making a royal crown quilt" and come up with more info.
