I like tyo read about other quilters.I'm looking now for fabric that is "Pink with kitties" for Morgan , my 3 yr old granddaughter,any suggestions?

Fran, I LOVE the Grants Pass area! I'm in Central Oregon...Redmond. If it's been awhile, you won't recognise Central Oregon anymore...we really had a boom here, and because of the boom, the recession has hit hard! It's grown by leaps and bounds tho, over what it was when I first came here in 2003.

Looks like you're getting hooked up with some quilting friends! :)

Welcome from NW Pa. I love the winners bouquet pattern, i have made a small wall hanging so far from it, and plan someday to do a larger one.

Hello Everyone! I am from Sedalia, Colorado. I have been enjoying reading everyone's posts and definitely looking at the pictures. It's very chilly here this morning. I work full time for an online university and get to quilt most mornings before I go to work. It keeps me sane during the day, teehee! Right now I am working on an applique quilt kit called Gotcha! that I bought for myself for Christmas.

Welcome Newbie! I am not far down the road in Centennial Colorado. These cold days are great for quilting aren't they? I am fairly new to quilting and the information on this forum has helped me so much. Stay warm and enjoy.

I will have to look into the quilt meeting again. I saw one in the Leisure Pamphlet that Aurora Parks & Rec puts out every few months, but I haven't followed up yet. I really would like to attend at least one a month. I work full-time, so I cannot make ones that are during the week day. However, I have seen a few that meet in the evening on a once-a-month basis. I will have to look again for one.

I am excited about meeting others from Colorado in this group.
