Default Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice mystery

Well, Bonnie surprised us and posted the reveal at midnight. Check it out at Quiltville. Its stunning! This is my third Bonnie mystery quilt and this one was the easiest. She offered it in two sizes this time. If you have never done one of her mysteries Celtic Solstice would be a good one to try. Off to begin putting my blocks together! Jo in NC

I have been following this and was surprised to see the complete quilt. It is on my bucket list and the pattern is safely in my project book. It is beautiful.

beautiful quilt... I have added it to my favorites tab just in case I can fit it in somewhere to my growing list of quilts to do.

Thanks for sharing the news Jo! I sure do love Bonnie Hunter's quilts!
Nan, thanks for the direct link.
Did you all read what Bonnie wrote on this page? It stirred my soul. Her brother Mark is fighting brain cancer. She wrote:
"There are a couple mismatched seams that I would call "GLARING”. And I’m not fixing them. They are quilted in. Those are the spots where my heart got derailed. Some future “quilt inspector” may tsk tsk at the inaccuracy of those places, the wobbly-ness of seams, the chopping off of a few points. But I will know when I see these humble places that at that moment –seams went awry while sewing through a veil of tears and much heart-trembling.
This is how we hold it together. Sometimes, just like life –Quilts are just a beautiful mess, and we just keep quilting on while trying to hold on to our sanity."
