This is the cutest video! It gives you all the steps to make a broken dishes quilt (or potholder).

Someone asked, on the vintage machines section, how to use a hand crank machine to piece or quilt. Here is your answer. This shows how my grandmother would have done this pattern on her Singer 127, which is probably what this machine is. I'm about to make this pattern for a scrappy church raffle quilt. I'll probably use my favorite electric Singer 301 even though I do have a hand crank Singer 201, but you could use any modern machine you have. I am going to try cutting it on my new Accuquilt GO.

Every step is clear and a lot of creativity was used in this video. Enjoy!
