    Default Great customer service

Just wanted to share a site that has great customer service www.thequiltcorner.com. I've been downloading their faith-based blocks for the past year and get emails about daily specials. Last week they had 18 FQs on sale. I rec'd the email at 8am and tried to order at 8:20 but it said "sold out". I emailed them and Margaret of customer service replied within 15 minutes to offer suggestions to click on a different section; it worked and I ordered them in pastel batik. I usually don't order "blind" bundles, prefer to pick and feel my own choices at LQS. I rec'd them today and they are awesome: great selection, nice feel to them, and no duplicates or uglies. After adding postage it still was worth it. Otherwise I'd have to drive 1 hour to LQS, pull and have cut 18 bolts of fabric, have lunch, and drive 1 hour home so I'd have easily spent what I paid in postage. I'm not affiliated with this site, just a happy and probably a repeat customer.

If this is the LQS in Central, LA (Baton Rouge), Margaret is the owner and very friendly and helpful. I started shopping at the Quilt Corner when it was still in her garage! Moved to a nice shopping center and it's a lovely shop with great staff and lots of fun classes, projects, and displays. I still order from her since we moved back to Ohio.

Yes, that's the shop--in Louisiana. Sorry about the link, DebbieJJ has the correct link. Can't tell you how much I like the pretty pastel batiks but I already used a couple.

That was a great deal. I haven't bought anytime when I can't see the colors. My budget is limited and I need to know the color will work with what I am working on.

I agree, MQ2--I took a leap of faith because of the prompt reply to my email. Also, I've been making minis lately and the pieces are so small that even ugly fabric works LOL.
