    Default Jack the ripper

Some ladies have asked about my husband making them a few of Jack's cousins for them.
While my husband would enjoy this, it isn't cost effective for us.

So I found this from Nancy's Notions this morning:

I bought one at the Phoenix Craft & Quilt Show in January - it works great!

Very cool! I was at a quilt show a few years back and watched a woman demonstrate a Wahl seam ripper. Wahl is the same company that makes hair clippers. Anyway, the ripper worked like a charm and then she said that she had gone through two of them. If they were so reliable why would it be necessary to replace it? Anyway, I bought one and have had it for over five years and it works like a dream for most projects. It is too large for small areas, but if you have to take out a long seam then it does the job super quick.
