    Default Jenny Beyer ruler

I watched this video and decided doing a pattern like this is not for me but I bet there are folks out there who would find this tute interesting.

I can make diamond templates without special rulers. Any square ruler you have with the 30, 45, and 60 degree lines can be expanded to the size you want.

Thanks for posting that link, it was very interesting! I love Jinny Beyer's work and glad to hear she's now using rotary cutters etc. sometimes rather than just tracing her templates.

I probably have every size square ruler available but I never use them to cut diamonds because the specialty diamond rulers are much easier to use for me. I'm glad designers do make their own rulers. It makes is easier to use their patterns written for it.

I have one of those June Taylor rulers that you can use to cut strips, squares, angles and can also use for diamonds. Works really well.
