Default Sampler - doesn't seem that difficult

    http://www.quiltviews.com/count-down...ilt-the-basics

I obviously missed this, but it seems late quilters are welcome because the complete project is still available, free.
(many times the block directions are removed after they've been available for a month or so)

It seems a little simpler than many sampler directions, so thought I'd share here. I don't think it has to done specifically for Christmas.

That is a very pretty quilt. I like the embroidery in the blocks and around the blocks. Thank You for sharing.

It is hand pieced...I didn't see any embroidery...maybe I'm not getting the full download, I'll try again

Certainly is a good skill building with anyone wanting to challenge themselves to learning new techniques.

This looks like a "relax and make" quilt. Thanks for the site.

I also liked the tutorial for the Janome sewing project on how to make an organizer under your machine... very similar to the recent post from Jenny Doan to make a sewing machine pad.

I would not have thought of doing a sampler in only two colors. It's really pretty and helps focus on the blocks because there aren't several colors to distract the eye. I've enrolled in a class at my local Bernina shop in which we are making a BOM sampler. I'm using pink and green scraps, so it's going to be much busier than this one!
