I.made a little 20x20 blanket with tags of different colors and textures. The blanket was fleece and tags, the size of shirt labels sewn around the edges. I think I'll do another for a baby. Expected in May. I'll post pics. Anyone else ever heard of this? I got the idea from a day care supply catalog.

My daughter received two when my granddaughter was born 3 years ago. The quilt was made from cotton, chenille, flannel, satin, and soft corduroy, and edged with "tags" of the same fabric. The baby LOVED the blanket and to this day she has to have that blanket when she goes to bed. Can't wait to see your pictures.

That sounds really cool! Sounds like the tags would take 9 mths to to find!

They were popular for a while some time ago. However, there was a scare that babies would get their fingers caught in the loops of the tags.

I was at a craft fair this past winter and the lady at the next table was selling them. They are cute. But I worried about little fingers getting twisted in them.

I made something like that but smaller. I made a button hole in it after I stuffed it so you could put one of those "C" hooks in it to attach it to the stroller.

Also saw where they made something like that for dogs.
