DH is watching the Rugby World Cup, so I'm on my own for the rest of the day ....
I did a mystery 1-day Quilt along a few months ago, and it was great to chat with fellow-quilters while everyone is busy on the same thing. The designer is also in the chat-room if we have any questions.
Some people only collected the hourly installments to make it later.
Today is only a table-runner, so it should go together quick ...

    Copied from the website:

On Saturday, September 10, 2011, Planet Patchwork will hold another of its favorite events, the Wonderful One-Day Mystery. This much-anticipated day-long quiltfest features Inspector Merry Mayhem's latest mystery offering, "Fold and Spindle."
On this day, beginning at 9:00 a.m. U.S. eastern daylight time, Planet Patchwork will post hourly installments of the mystery. There are a total of 7 installments in this mystery, the first of which (fabric requirements and cutting instructions) is already posted. This means that six more will be posted on mystery day, with the last one posted at 2 p.m.

I'm off to cut my fabric!

It sounds very interesting, can you post a picture when you are done? The link doesn't show the finished picture.

It doesn't show a finished picture because it is a mystery. We don't what it is going to look like until it is finished.

I get it now, You don't even know what you are making! How fascinating. Good luck and please post the final picture or better yet, if you have time to post pictures as you go along we can live vicariously through you.
