I shared the 10 minute block directions from this board with a friend in my guild. She sent me this message a bit ago--I just wanted to share it with all of you who are so willing to share with the rest of us. Rachel

    From my friend:

"Just wanted to pass on this note from a friend in Wichita. i had sent her
the site for the block and she thought it was neat, her mom makes
quilts. This was good therapy for mom because dad has Alheimer's:

"Mom has 54 ten min blocks made and laid out on the bed in the guest
bedroom. She keeps rearranging the blocks to her liking. She had one
yellow one that stood out and didn't blend in with the other colors. She
kept complaining about it and not being able to find a good spot for it. .
. finally I took the block and put it in my pocket. I told her if you do
not like it now, you really really will not like it later after it is
quilted, take the time and make a block that you like and fits the colors
you have. She will have to do this because there is a hole in her layout
(ha). She really wanted to get it sewn together but dad has been wandering
around looking for his lawn mower and she has to keep her eye on him and
keep him busy. I thought dad would be past remembering the lawn mower this
    year. "

See, you never know how far something extends! Thanks again for sharing. MJ"
