I just went to my local Walmart and All their fabrics were 1/2 off! The signs said they were having a new line of fabrics coming in. The cutting person said they were getting fabric every day & they were all 50% off. She didn't know when the new line will be in.

Fresno California-today I was told that they are downsizing their fabrics, mostly they will be selling the precut kits. At least we have another Walmart on the other side of town.....but their recently dropped half their stock.

The pre cuts in one Walmart here are all alike. Wild crazy prints and comes two yards to a package. They are not selling at all. The fat quarters are stiff and thin. The fat quarter bundles seem to be a better quality. The fat eight bundles are bright colors with wild prints mixed in.

Is it the Walmart on Ingram (north Fresno) or the other one?

Our local Wal-Marts are slowly getting rid of the fabric/craft sections and bringing in Party Supplys! What a shame, there are a lot of Fabricaholics that love Wal-Marts selections and prices.

Watch it though, some of their 100% cottons are very low thread count and you can see right through them. They do however have some that are tightly woven.
