I have used it a couple of times. I have loved it also. I wish the first quilt I made with it I had been more careful with the quilting. i didnt' quilt it dense enough and have had major shrinkage. but that is all on me. not the batting. the quilt in my avatar is actually the first i have done with bamboo batting.

I have used bamboo batting and like it for the weight. It does seem to be a little more linty on my needle bar as a single batt, but I just finished a quilt with warm n' white and was having a lint issue as well.

I used it in one quilt along with a wool batt. It made it warm and light. It does need to be washed in cool water. I have also used the combo (cotton/bamboo) and like that as well.

I bought a roll of the cotton/bamboo but haven't used it yet. If anyone is interested Wal-Mart has it on sale on line. Just look under party and craft dept. Now I can't wait to use it after reading the comments. Thanks to all who shared their experience with it.

After learning this, it lost some of its appeal, so I went with the Hobbs silk batting instead.

I'm glad I read this thread. I've wanted to try the bamboo but, now realize I should use the bamboo cotton combo.

I use it all the time. Great to work with and makes lovely soft quilts, esp for babies and children. On larger quilts it drapes beautifully.
