Hi, a damp wash cloth with quick wipes works good. SandPat's works great, dryer with dryer sheet and quick shake out. A damp dryer sheet used as a wipe works sometimes.

Sometimes I think I would like to do that, but my sewing room has no door.....

Here's another vote for the Pledge pet hair picker upper thing. It's the best thing I've ever found, and I have two Maine Coons with LOTS of hair. Use it like the directions say, back and forth in two directions. They are disposable, but I've found that I can just pull the gobbed up hair off the rollers and into the garbage, so I've gotten a lot of use out of one picker upper. I had always used the sticky tape rollers before, but this has them beat by a mile!

I use my little hand held Dirt Devil. I use it daily on my bed and chairs and quilts that I'm working on. I have two cats that follow me everywhere and love to "help".

No door on the sewing room? I have started using a baby gate. :-o That way my dog (normally a 'stick-tight') can see me, but not get in to leave hair on the fabrics.
