Arthritis pain

I warm them up with a rice bag first thing in the morning and then do simple/easy stretches to get them warmed up. I do this off/on all throughout the day.
I also have worn fingerless gloves to help keep them warm and the support feels good too.
Use your whole hand whenever possible and not just a couple of fingers/thumb to hold or grab something.
Take frequent breaks... :D:D:D

I have advanced Rheumatiod Arthritis that started when I was about 23, but not properly diagnosed until I was 50. Didn't get on the proper treatment till 2004, but my fingers are all whithered and very inflamed. If you think you have arthritis, please talk to your doctor about it. there are easy tests they can do so you can find out.Don't wait so long like I did. I bought the comfort gloves and they help. Just please get the proper help, so you slow down the process. Blessing to you, Nancy

Try aspercreme. Also, do you do a lot of hand sewing? Could be that you are developing tendonitis in your hand from that. Tendonitis is very painful, rest, ice, aspercreme help that - pretty much the same things you do for arthritis, except for the ice.
