For one reason and another, it had been several weeks since I sat down at my sewing machine, which was OK for a while, but this week the yearning to get back to some quilting was getting stronger and stronger. So I did! Spurred on by the thread about the 2012 UFO challenge, I finished a project that only needed a couple of hours work but had been waiting for some attention for ages, and this afternoon I'm getting on with my latest quilt. There's plenty of Christmas preparation still to do, but never mind - this felt more important! We need to look after ourselves at this busy time of year - that's my excuse, anyway.

It feels so good to get a project finished doesn't it? I need to get the binding on a few quilts so I will work on that.
