    Default Batting or fusible fleece??

I am making a Christmas gift for my niece and wondered which would be better to use in the project. The project is a panel attached to a measuring panel. I plan to sew the 2 pieces together side by side. I assume they'll put it up on the wall and wasn't sure which would work better--fusible fleece or batting.

Fleece will have more body and stiffness for a wall hanging that batting. If you are confident it will be on the wall , I like Decor Bond(a pellon product) for wall hangings. You can get it at Jo'anns and you can sew through it. Do use a coupon !
