    Did it all happen in slow motion? Actually it was a bigger loss to you than to the seller. What's $15 compared with a lifetime of sewing.

    That sounds like something I would do. My friend found a couple of old glass insulators that electric high wires used to be wound around in my father's barn. When I foolishly tossed it into the box, it hit the other one and now has a big chip in it and is basically worthless.
