Default Which Bloc Loc rulers do you like best?

I am looking at their strip set ruler and thinking it would work well for the fast strip quilts I like to make.

The HST rulers look great too, but I don't make many quilts that incorporate HSTs. The demo shows cutting one HST at a time, but I am wondering if the ruler would work to cut accurate HSTs from a strip set. Anyone try this? Also, it seems to me that it's not necessary to buy each size of HST ruler, since you can use the large one for small HSTs as well as large ones.

Here is a link for those who may not be aware of these rulers:

I only have the HST rulers. It's the only way I can produce truly perfect HSTs. I love them and think they are very much worth the price. You can get away with a single larger one, but I bought the 2.5, 4.5 and 6.5 bundle at a show and it is so nice & easy to use the exact one you need with a rotating mat. I recently had to cut several hundred 3.5" hsts & I broke down and got the 3.5" ruler. Don't have any of the others, so I can't comment.

I have been wanting the strip set ruler but never see it so I forget about it. I just ordered it and got it free! Let me explain my free. A friend called DH last night from out of town, he and his DW and grand would be in town for a few days and wanted to visit. DH said let's meet at a local restaurant, my treat! Well today he called and said their trip was cancelled. So I figured we saved well over $125 by not eating out. So I ordered the ruler and saved money to boot. DH says my logic gives him a headache.

The best price was at Fat Quarter Shop from what I could find.

I have the half square triangle set 1 1/2 inch to 6 1/2 inch, and the flying geese set- up to 4 by 8. I used the 4 x8 today, and i also need to make 6 x12, but didn't have a bloc loc that big. It was a real pain to get accurate flying geese, compared to using their rulers. They are great. I also have the strip ruler, but don't use it very much.

One tone, I love your logic! I totally get it! I don't have those rulers but they are on my list.

Maybe there is something wrong with my technique that I'm not aware of, but I cut two strips and sew them into a tube, and then using my triangle ruler cut out triangles. I then pick out a few stitches and I have a half square triangle.
