    Yes, THIS challenge is officially over, but the 2nd Block Challenge is up and open to July 20. Come by and see what is going on!

    Here's my 1st block: It's okay....I have most bright and batik fabric's....so this is what I found with the colors that we were suppose to pick from.

    Bibliostone: Thanks for sharing your pictures. Your blocks are beautiful. I think I will try one with some batiks I have left over from a swap. :-)

    Ok...so I'm out of time for the first block challenge.
    Not having any pale fabrics, I nevertheless decided to play with this block using some slightly brighter fat quarters in my stash. I'll probably use this block as the back to a cushion. (If I can find where I've put that stitched item last sunday, I'll be able to make the cushion today!!!!!)

    btw: The little triangles cut off, I used for the second block challenge

    Thank you so much! The quilt is about half done. I need to finish cutting out the 12 1/2" blocks and get it sewn together. Then I'm going to just Stitch in the Ditch on my machine to quilt it

    Holes are where the rest of 12 1/2" blocks go
