wow, what a treasure you found. are you keeping it or trying to locate the previous owner.
I have one I started with 2" windows. yours is beautiful, and a keeper.

It is a cathedral window quilt. Its very nice and looks well cared for. I'm pretty sure that I can see some vintage feed sack fabric in the squares. So, that puts the fabrics used in the 1930's/40's . Its a great find. Depending on the area you live in and the general condition you might get a little more than a 100.00 for it. You could always list it on e-bay and set it in at what you'd like to have for it.

Some of the fabrics might be vintage, some are '60 s-70 s fabrics. It would be worth having appraisal done, you can visit the American Quilters Society for a list of Certified quilt appraisers, the list is organized by state. Around here an appraisal is $50. Any information you can find helps, is there a label?

I think that it is invaluable or would be to me. A great find.

I think I would keep this abandoned quilt and love it as it deserves.

That is a beautiful quilt. I would be keeping it. I agree with other posts to have it appraised or at least show it to quilt teachers/guilds before to get a better idea of value before selling it.

This is a cathedral windows quilt, which was usually hand sewn and was labor intensive. I don't think that it would have a batting because of the type of quilt it is. I would display the quilt on a spare bed or even a quilt rack as I think it is beautiful.
