    Talking color advice

I'm making purple Star blocks & want to put 9 patches in between sorta like an Irish chain. What color should I use in my 9 patches, was wanting to get away from Pink ( my first choice). I'd like to step (kinda) out of my comfort zone.

My first thought was aqua, or lavender. I go to my LQS and lay out all sorts of color combo. You will know when it the right combination.

I like teal with purple or aqua. You could also use yellow or gold.

If it is a purple with red in it spring or lime green go really well. Bluish purple looks good with greens that lean toward more blue in them than yellow.

Wow, I really think I'm going to be daring and go with lime green. I even have a yd. in my stash (another what was I thinking). I never thought I'd ever use that.
